Honest to GodHonest to God

Is hypocrisy eroding your trust in relationships, the church, or even yourself? We long to know there is a God – and, yes, a community – who is big enough to accept us for who we are and loving enough not to leave us that way. Imagine how our relationships and witness would change if Christians everywhere began to live in a more authentic manner. Throughout the Bible, we find heroes of the faith who lived with daring, messy honesty before God and others – their example is worth emulating. Honest to God is a practical and riveting study of biblical honesty.

Follow next generation author, Josh Weidmann, as he takes the reader on a journey toward true Christian authenticity. Both biblical and contemporary examples will give you practical principles and tools for self-examination that will lead to the freedom and transformation that come only through honesty.

Let’s be real. The word “devotional” sounds like another chore to check off. Who wants to do homework all afternoon only to end the day forced drudging through what seems like more homework, all in the name of “connecting with God.” Nobody, right? Good news; throw out everything you know about devotionals and check out how author and speaker C.J. Wetzler revamps spending time with our Creator.

Inspired by some of today’s top music, iDevotional connects what flows through your earbuds with the plans God has for your life. Inside you’ll find out why wrestling a knife-yielding roommate isn’t so wise, what to do when your pet lizard makes a bust for freedom, and of course, what to do when face to face with a shark. Each day also references relevant Scripture and asks thought-provoking questions crafted to refresh your relationship with God.

David Chance can see messages in the sea of words around him, messages that warn him of future events.

Words are everywhere – on labels, magazines, sign posts, t-shirts – everywhere. And as much as David Chance would like to hide from them, he can’t. Words keep leaping off objects around him, forming messages in his mind. But how is this possible? Has his brain suddenly taken an evolutionary leap forward, or are the mysterious messages proof of divine intervention?

Driven to answer a question he’d long ago abandoned, and stalked by the killer he’s trying to stop, David risks everything to follow the messages to a dirty bomb set to go off in the heart of Boston. But can he trust the author of the messages to protect him from a terrorist who seems to know his every move.

Lady Charlotte Eversley, heir of the Earl of Everston, has lived a charmed life. Wealthy, beautiful, and one day she will be a Countess in her own right. No mother has ever loved a daughter more. Her sisters admire and adore her, and of course, her father dotes on her. She is one of the most eligible ladies of the Season.

Mr. Jasper Seyton misses the country. Along with his trusted servant, Worley, he endures the delights of Town for one purpose. After three Seasons, he has little confidence in the so-called “Marriage Mart.”

They enjoy each other’s company, and her father approves. She knows he intends to propose. He knows that she will accept.

So where is she when he returns to Everston Hall, and why does she think there is no hope for happiness again?
